Julie Ward
Julie came late to the arts by way of jewelry making. Her interest was in using vintage beads, buttons, and any object she could rescue from old drawers and bags that could be repurposed and see the light of day again! The challenge is to create a piece without purchasing a new material.
Julie strives to keep her work affordable so you can enjoy it and then pass it on because, face it, we do get tired of wearing the same pieces over the years.
Recently she’s taken up pottery (hand building), textiles and working with alcohol ink because art is relaxing and fun! Julie also has over 28 years of experience working for a non-profit including budgeting, project development, implementation, and grant writing.
Julie currently serves as Treasurer for the Somerset Artists’ Co-Op.
