Artist and Community support is what makes our mission possible – to share the work of local artists, provide space for art to be made and sold, and to celebrate art together as a community. You can support the Somerset Artists’ Co-Op in any way that fits with your time, ability and means. Here are some ideas…

Create and Sell Your Art Here

Studio & Gallery Artist Memberships provide you access to The Studio where you can create and then sell your art in our Gallery. Studio Artists donate a small commission back to the Co-Op to support our expenses. Commissions are on a sliding scale from 20% to 35% with reductions for members who also volunteer.

If you’re not an artist but you appreciate art and are looking to support local artists, we’re a great spot to find one-of-a-kind works that often are crafted from materials found in our area. Your purchase supports the artists and provides revenue to offset our expenses. The Gallery is open on Saturdays from 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM and Sundays from 11:00 – 4:00 PM. Check our calendar for additional or extended Gallery hours during holidays and special events.

Become a Member

We offer two memberships – a $25 Friends of the Co-Op Membership which offers a 10% discount on purchases (you can always donate it back to us!) and a $30 Studio & Gallery Artist Membership which provides access to use the Co-Op Studio and ability to sell art in the Gallery. Become a Sponsor

For businesses and donors with passion for art, sponsorship opportunities are available. These are generally larger dollar commitments that help us with facility improvements and event production. If you have a specific idea of what you’d like to sponsor, a particular art discipline or other purpose, we’re happy to hear from you and work with you. Send us an email and a member of the board will respond promptly.

Donate Supplies

Art supplies can be one of the most expensive items an artist must purchase. We welcome donated student- and artist-grade supplies for classes and to support our artists. Find out more about what we can take in, when, and how.

Donate Your Time & Skills

We are happy to make friends with skilled people who can help paint a wall, fix a chair, provide event support, mind the Gallery and more. If you have time and want to support, your time is valuable to us. Send us an email and let us know what you’d like to help with!
