Plein Air in the Park

Join us for this artful partnership with Jessie Bennett and the Perry County Park District! Spend time in nature and create art in your favorite medium – drawing, painting, pastels, collage – whatever you like! “Plein air” is the French term for “outdoors.”
On this day, we’ll meet at the Glenford Fort Preserve. We suggest arriving a bit prior to start time at 2:00 pm. . We’ll take a short hike so you can find the spot that speaks to you. We’ll conclude around 4:00 pm but you may leave early if you finish or stay late if you are still inspired.
Bring your supplies, find your spot, and enjoy creating! It’s recommended to bring a chair, blanket, small table or easel. This is a family-friendly event so feel free to bring children and enjoy time creating together!
