For Children 13-17 and Adults 18+. Please wear long pants and closed-toed shoes due to safety concerns. Celebrate Christmas in July at the Somerset Artists’ Co-op and create your own glass enamels on copper Christmas ornament. Select from a number of copper designs, learn how to add powdered glass enamels, and use our enameling kiln to fuse the colors to the copper. Just add a ribbon, and you’ll take home a one-of-a-kind Christmas ornament ready to hang. All copper blanks, colored glass enamels, tools, and heavy safety gloves are supplied. Safety glasses and masks are available upon request at no extra charge.

We will make a ring, pendant, or earrings from a sterling spoon or fork. All supplies (silver, solder, tools and torch will be provided. Silver is around $80 bucks an ounce now - Cost of class = $60.00

For children 13-17 and adults 18+ Celebrate Christmas in July by creating a vibrant enameled snowflake of your own design. In this hands‑on workshop, students will enamel a copper snowflake blank using colorful powdered enamels and stencils to build rich, layered color effects. After the enamel is applied, each piece will be fired in a hot kiln, where the glass vitrifies and fuses to the copper, creating a glossy, durable finish. Participants will leave with a finished, colorful snowflake ornament or pendant that’s uniquely their own. All materials are provided, including a copper snowflake blank, powdered enamel, and stencils.
