Glass Enameling: 6-Class Series

This series with Cathy Holley explores six different enameling techniques to create beautiful pieces of art that can be hung or worn, depending on your choice of copper blanks.

Peace Poster Design Studio – FREE!

Join the fun as the Glenford, Somerset and Thornville Lions Clubs host a poster-making contest open to all students who will be 11, 12 or 13 years of age on November 15, 2024. The Somerset Artists’ Co-Op is excited to help with this effort, opening our studio and supplies to students during our Saturday hours, 11 AM - 5 PM. Drop in anytime during these hours to create your Peace Poster. PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED.

Introduction to Watercolor

Learn and have fun with this basic, step-by-step acrylic painting class. This is open to all ages - best for those who can remain focused for two hours (child OR adult!).  You'll create The Witches on a 16x20-inch canvas with step-by-step instruction from treasured Co-Op artist Bobbie McKinnon.

Introduction to Enameling

Somerset Artists' Co-Op 206 South Market Street, Somerset, OH, United States

In this introductory class, students will learn to use powdered glass (vitreous enamel), a piece of copper, and a kiln to make beautiful, one of a kind creations. Each student will be given a 2 x 2-inch copper square as a pallet for their design, using paper towel pieces to make a template that is unique to their vision. Suitable for adults 18+.
