    Enjoy the holiday season with art! Join enamelist Cathy Holley and create a beautiful, one-of-a-kind, glass enameled, copper Christmas ornament. Select from a variety of copper blanks and, after learning several application techniques, layer colorful enamels to personalize your selection before firing in the kiln. You will leave with a completed ornament ready for that special place on your tree.

    All materials (copper blanks, glass enamel, enamel stringers and chunks, ribbon for hanging, ornament hook) and all tools needed will be supplied.

    For Beginners

    This is a basic, introductory class to learn Tiffany-style procedures and make a Christmas ornament.

    All materials, tools and machines will be provided. Students will cut, grind, foil glass and assemble, then solder pieces together. The product is guaranteed to be unique and delight the eye. Ages 13+.

    We invite anyone who has tried or regularly enjoys enameling to join enameling instructor Cathy Holley for a relaxed open studio session where you can play with and share your favorite techniques with other enameling lovers. We can supply enamels and copper for those who need them or bring your own supplies for a lower fee. Choose the seat type that suits your situation best. Sign up today for a great opportunity to share with and learn from others!

    Feel free to bring any food and drinks that you’d like. Times listed are when the studio will be available, but you are welcome to come in later or leave earlier. Fees, however, will remain the same. Ages 18+.
